There are many extremely talented Music Directors in present time in Bollywood. Most of them are my favourite. But I have chosen just 5 Music Directors from them in my list “Top 5 Music Directors in Bollywood”. The list is made according to my won choice.

Top 5 Music Composers in Bollywood of 21^st Century:

A R Rahman:

When we talk about the top music directors of Bollywood of current time, A R Rahman’s name comes in the mind first. Not only in India, A R Rahman is a world famous name. He is an International Icon. From “Roaza” to “Slumdog Millenior”, there is “Special Touch” in his all music. As I think A R Rahman is the most versatile music director of present time in India. He is an Oscar winning music director and he has won National Awards also.

Pritam Chakraborty:

We may add a tag “The Hit Machine” before the name of Pritam. Most people believe that Pritam’s music means hit songs and hit movies. Pritam is from Bengal. From “Gangstar” to “Ashiqui2”, Pritam rocks everytiome.

Vishal-Shekhar:

We have seen several couples of music composers in Bollywood. But Vishal-Shekhar is one of the most promising couple of music among the top music directors of present time in Bollywood. From “Jhankar Beats” to “Chennai Express” we are compelled to dance with the beats of their music.

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy:

We may call Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy “the Three Musketeers of Bollywood”. From “Dil Chahta Hai” to “Don”, their music is always in the top of any chart-busters.

Santanu Maitra:

I just spelled bound hearing the music in the movie “Parineeta”. Then “Lage Raho Munna Bhai”, “Three Idiots” and recently “Madras café”, there is a magic in the music of Santanu Maitra. He is from Bengal. He also worked in Tollywood film industry in Kolkata.

List of Top 5 Comedian Actors in Bollywood for all time (according to me):-

Mehmood:-

Perhaps Mehmood was the most talented comedian in Hindi cinema. Mehmood had a sovereign domination over Bollywood for a long time. He has acted with Bollywood heroes in paralal roles in several Hindi films. We can’t forget his appearance in the song “Hum Kale Hain To Kiya Hua” from the movie “Gumnam”. He acted with the legend Kishor Kumar ji in the film “Padosan”. Most probably, he was the only comedian in Bollywood who had heroines in several Hindi movies.

Keshto Mukherjee:-

Keshto Mukherjee was one of the most popular comedians in Bollywood. Keshto Mukherjee used to act in the role of drunkard most of times. But if we do not watch his acting in the role of a drunken man, we can’t believe that a drunk man can entertain that much. “Bombay to Goa” is one of his memorable Hindi movies. His screen presence is fabulous.

Johnny Lever:-

Jihnny lever is an intelligent comedian. We can’t forget the servant named “Bhuluram” in the movie “Bazigar”. The actor of that role was Johnny Lever. He also dominated Bollywood for a long time. He doesn’t need any dialogue. We just laugh seeing his gestures and acting of her face only.

Kader Khan-

Kader Khan is an unforgettable comedian actor in Bollywood. Nowadays, we often feel the absence of a comedian like Kader Khan. His acting in the movie “Bol Radha Bol” was so much appreciated. He acted with comedy hero Govinda in several Hindi movies and entertained us for a long time.

Paresh Rawal-

The list is incomplete without the name of Paresh Rawal. Starting from “Hera Pheri” to “Aankhe” or from “Hungama to “Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge”, he acted in so many Hindi movies and achieved huge appreciation for his performances as a comedian. He is not just a comedian actor but a powerful actor in Hindi cinema also.

There are so many hit item songs in Bollywood and it is too difficult to choose only five songs from them. I have chosen 5 super hit item songs from Bollywood movies. Dhoom Machale, Maiya Maiya, Khallas etc. are also my favourite tracks.

◙ Chikni Chameli

The song “Chikni Chameli” is one of the biggest hit item songs of the year. The movie was “Agnipath” directed by Karan Malhotra. The item song “Chikni Chameli” was originally taken from the Marathi song “Kombi Palali”. But the music directors Ajay-Atul mixed Bollywood masala with the song and made it more spicy. But the main USP of the song was fabulous dance of Katrina Kaif and melodious voice of Shreya Ghoshal.

◙ Kajra Re

The item song “Kajra Re” was one of the biggest hits in the career of musicians Shankar-Ahsan-Loy. The performance of Alisha, Javed Ali and Shankar Mahadevan was really praiseworthy. Infact Alisha made her come back in mainstream playback singing with the song. The dance performance of Amitabh, Abhishek and Aiswariya was just outstanding.

◙ Munni Badnam

The item song “Munni Badnam” is one of the biggest hit song of the year 2010. the music director of the song was Lalit Pandit and the singers were Mamta Sharma and Aiswariya Nigam. The amazing dance performance of Malaika Arora Khan was praised very much.

◙ Biri Jalai Le

The item song “Biri Jalai Le” from the movie “Omkara” became biggest his of the year 2006. The music director was Vishal Bhardwaj and the singers were Sunidhi Chowhan and Sukhvindar Singh. The song achieved a number of awards in the year 2006. The Bengali sensation Bipasha Basu performed in this song.

◙ Shila Ki Jawani

The movie “Tees Maar Khan” was not much successful in box office. But the song “Shila Ki Jawani” from this movie became very popular in the year 2010. The song is one of the favourite tracks of any party till now. The singers of the song were Sunidhi and Vishal Dallani and the music directors were Vishal-Shekhar. The choreography of the song was extraordinary. And after all Katrina’s dance performance made the song spicier.
