There are many extremely talented Music Directors in present time in Bollywood. Most of them are my favourite. But I have chosen just 5 Music Directors from them in my list “Top 5 Music Directors in Bollywood”. The list is made according to my won choice.

Top 5 Music Composers in Bollywood of 21^st Century:

A R Rahman:

When we talk about the top music directors of Bollywood of current time, A R Rahman’s name comes in the mind first. Not only in India, A R Rahman is a world famous name. He is an International Icon. From “Roaza” to “Slumdog Millenior”, there is “Special Touch” in his all music. As I think A R Rahman is the most versatile music director of present time in India. He is an Oscar winning music director and he has won National Awards also.

Pritam Chakraborty:

We may add a tag “The Hit Machine” before the name of Pritam. Most people believe that Pritam’s music means hit songs and hit movies. Pritam is from Bengal. From “Gangstar” to “Ashiqui2”, Pritam rocks everytiome.

Vishal-Shekhar:

We have seen several couples of music composers in Bollywood. But Vishal-Shekhar is one of the most promising couple of music among the top music directors of present time in Bollywood. From “Jhankar Beats” to “Chennai Express” we are compelled to dance with the beats of their music.

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy:

We may call Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy “the Three Musketeers of Bollywood”. From “Dil Chahta Hai” to “Don”, their music is always in the top of any chart-busters.

Santanu Maitra:

I just spelled bound hearing the music in the movie “Parineeta”. Then “Lage Raho Munna Bhai”, “Three Idiots” and recently “Madras café”, there is a magic in the music of Santanu Maitra. He is from Bengal. He also worked in Tollywood film industry in Kolkata.
