Mimi Chakraborty is one of the most popular, beautiful and talented Bengali actresses. She was born on 11 Feb, 1984. her home district is Jalpaiguri. She spent her early childhood in Arunachal Pradesh. She studied in Holy Child School, Jalpaiguri and completed her graduation from Asutosh College in Kolkata.

Mimi Chakraborty started her acting career with TV serial “Champion”. Then she acted in TV serial “Gaaner Oparey”. The serial was aired on TV Channel “Star Jalsha”. Mimi Chakraborty played the role of Pupe in this serial.

Mimi Chakraborty made her debut in Bengali cinema with the movie “Bapi Bari Ja” in 2012. She played the female lead role in this movie. The movie was hit and the performance of Mimi Chakraborty was appreciated a lot. “Bojhena Shey Bojhena” was her second Bengali movie. In this movie, her co-stars were Sohom Chakraborty, Payel Sarkar and Abir Chatterjee. The movie was directed by Raj Chakraborty and was released in 2013. This movie was also a big hit.

Mimi Chakraborty then appeared in the movie “Proloy” in 2013. In this movie, her co-stars were Parambrata Chatterjee and Saswata Chakraboprty.
