Popular Indian Bengali actress Paoli Dam was born on 4^th October, 1980. She spent her childhood in Kolkata. Her first released film was ‘Agnipariksha’ in 2006. Between 2006 and 2009 she performed in several Bengali movies. But she came into prominence with the Bengali movie ‘Kaalbela’ directed by famous Director Gautam Ghosh. Her performance in that film was appreciated a lot.

Paoli Dam made her Bollywood debut in Hindi movie ‘Hate Story’ in 2012. She has been offered for Vikram Bhatt’s next movie ‘Ankur Arora Murder Case’.

Paoli Dam completed her schooling from Loreto School, Bowbazar.

Paoli Dam passed Higher Secondary examination from Loreto School, Bowbazar.

She completed her Graduation with Chemistry honours from Vidyasagar College, Kolkata. She passed Post Graduation in Chemistry from Rajabazar Science College, Kolkata.

Paoli Dam started her career with Bengali Television Serial ‘Jibon Niye Khela’. She worked in some more TV Serials like ‘Tithir Atithi’, ‘Sonar Harin’. These serials were very popular.

Paoli Dam established herself as an excellent and talented actress in Gautam Ghosh’s Bengali movie ‘Kaalbela’ in the year 2009. Her role was appreciated very much. She appeared in the movie ‘Chhatrak’ which was much talked in people.

Paoli Dam made her Bollywood debut with Vikram Bhatt’s erotic thriller ‘Hate Story’.
