serial actresses. Geetoshri Roy is a trained classical dancer. Her father
wanted her to be a teacher. So her father used to avoid offers for acting she
got earlier. Her dance teachers and some friends requested her to go for look
test for “Rashi”. She took part and got selected for the lead role of the
Bengali serial. It was her first role of her acting career. “Rashi” became one of the most popular
Bengali Tv Serials. The serial is aired on Bengali Tv Channel “Zee Bangla”.
